Dry leather on Ashley N/S satchel. Lexol?

I'm trying to find something to moisturize my dry Ashley satchel. ( I think the previous owner used a harsh cleaner on her). I've read Lexol works and wanted to give it a shot. I'm worried about the coloring of the bag though because it's Tearose. Has anyone ever used this on a lighter bag and if so, how did it fare? Thanks.

I use Apple conditioner on all of my bags and they feel awesome. You can get it on Amazon...there's Apple Guarde which is the protectant, and Apple Conditioner, which is what I use.

I like Apple better than Lexol, but Lexol is better than not conditioning at all.
My red Zoe was a little dried out when I got her. I used Apple, and used Obenauf's, and she soft and supple now.
