Hello Everyone,

I just purchased this bag and am waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

I usually carry smaller bags because I don't carry much with me, but I don't think this will be too big (fingers crossed). I also have heard it's heavy, so I will have to see about that too.

What I am more concerned about is the strap. I see myself wanting to use this bag with the strap and have read reviews about it ripping .

Does anyone here have experience with this bag?

I've read in a few places that the crossbody stap hook placement is really poor on these bags. I just ordered one and I would like to be able to wear it crossbody and not worry about it ripping. I had an idea to add grommets/eyelets on the sides of the bag (in between the two snaps) to be able to clip the strap there. Has anyone else tried this?

I have the amanda double zip tote and the hooks for the extra strap are also placed very poorly inside the bag, vs. outside of the bag. It pulls the lining and I'm pretty sure it will tear after much use.
