I would ask Burberry if there is a treatment you can use to make the bag more durable. It stinks to have to settle for your second choice.

Scotchguard spray it. (Well, test a small hidden section first to see if it takes). Cuz once it's sprayed and gets stained, you can wipe it clean fairly easy. Beautiful bag btw.

hmmm- did you wash the jeans prior to wearing them? I've heard of color tranfer from denim happening but never to me. Personally I like the first one you bought, but I LOVE the black nylon tote- it looks durable and very sophistocated.
