Hello all, I’m hoping I can get some advice! I have been ogling the Infrarouge collection for quite a while, as well and the catogram collection. The red and black is so different! I have the opportunity to buy an Infrarouge Dora that has melted glazing of the handles, and I’m tempted! Does anyone know if this can be fixed or if Louis Vuitton would fix it? I know it’s probably a bad idea but I am tempted!!

Since this is a discontinued bag that may not have the handle parts for it if they need to be replaced. I dont know if they could just fix the glazing. I would check with a store or customer service maybe before buying?
Thanks for the reply! I did ask in store but they said they couldn’t comment on it without seeing the bag, which I understand. It’s a really beautiful piece, the Infrarouge really popped. Maybe I should pass though!
No unfortunately not, I would be buying it as described, if they hadn’t disclosed the melting then I would have been able to. I do love it but I have the fear.
If it’s only melted glazing, LV repair center could repair it FOC, but just have to bear in mind that they might ruin your bag further. You have to take pic of the good part too before sending , just in case the repair center ruined your bag, and you coul accept it, you could claim store credit
It is, I love the Infrarouge though which is the only thing tempting me! It’s sooooo pretty!!
