Dooney's New Hayden Bag... Whatcha think?

I really wanted this bag but hated that it didn't zip and the HP tag and the price. But if it went on sell? 250 or so? I'd most likely get it. I could see using it as an everyday bag at least for a while.

Hi...I'm relatively new to the forum...it's funny that this post should come up as I just shipped my Red Hayden bag back to Dooney today. I found that it was very difficult to get in and out of & it was also hard for me to keep both straps on my shoulder. I ended up getting a suede Cynthia Rowley bag instead...love it!

This bag actually has a magnetic closure. It does not buckle and is way cute. The HP tag is there as a way to "show" it is the limited Hayden bag. The hardware is 18K Gold (plated, I believe).

thsi bag has been around for awhile now. about a year so not entirely "new" although they did reintroduce it in new colors and a another smaller shape. but for teh price of smaller i would just buy the larger. overal i was not a fan of this bag b/c of HP tag and flap but after seeing IRL and in the black it is a very nice bag. i must admit that 14 karat gold HP tag makes the bag pop. and the flap isnot that much of a hassle to get in and out of. The only draw back is i am unsure about teh price tag also. I must admit i like the D&B chiara bag alot better and would get more use out of it. I have heard that the haydens have shown up in outlets so check for it there. Overal, seeing a bag IRL allows changes perspective

I love the bag! not so fond of the patient leather, they have this style in suede now :tup: I would love to see some tabloid pictures of Hayden Pantiere (not sure on the spelling) carrying the bag that was named after her. She always seems to be wearing something else. If I had a bag named after me I would carry it all the time.

My daughter received this bag for Christmas and it is really nice. I was surprised at how much I liked it. We ordered it for her from the Dooney site (on sale!) and I thought it was going to look a lot more "plastic-y", but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the leather and how much I really liked this. She loves it, so that is what matters.

Congrats to you and your daughter on your new HP Dooney bag. I have been eyeballing this bag for a couple weeks now. Is it easy to get in and out of - or does the flap make it clumsy. What size did you buy, the small or large? Happy New Year.
