My Clayton came today! It’s brown tmoro and smooth all over. Just what I wanted. It’s an older one with that thick thick Florentine leather and it has the snap on one of the slip pockets. it is in very good condition, no wear showing on the pockets or anywhere really. The pockets aren’t even bent and out of shape. Super clean inside and boy is she pretty. I am really happy I was able to grab her for my collection, and at the price I paid $138 she was well worth it…

It’s such a good feeling when you open the box and it’s is barely used condition. I’m very happy it’s the older thick thick Florentine. I can’t believe how good she looks and smells being older. She looks like she was barely carried. She was cold sitting on the porch and the seller stuffed her in a tiny box, I’m not to happy about that. But she looks fabulous after I stuffed her.
to be honest if I ordered a new one and it was pebbled I wouldn’t be this happy….

It’s just the leather. Some is smooth and some pebbled the first brown tmoro coin case is pebbled and the navy is not as pebbled. Chest nut front is smooth and the back not so much

Kitty: Florentine is a natural leather, full grained. It's not embossed to create a grain
or sanded to make it ultra smooth or processed in other ways that can alter/enhance
the finish. As a result, some pieces are smooth and some are pebbled. Collectors might
have a preference for one or the other, but unless you are looking over a handbag in a
store, there is no way to know if the bag you get will be smooth or pebbled, or a combination of both.

In my opinion, Dooney could set standards and select pieces of leather that
produced handbags that were always smooth Florentine leather. The result would
be that the price of the bags would be significantly higher than they already are.

thanks LJ.... I am really glad I didn't sleep on this one. I'll be looking for a guitar strap for it. I am really happy with it. I love the deep dark chocolate color and that its the older thicker Florentine leather.

Happy Jive Turkey day everyone. I hope everyone can find something to be thankful for. I woke up today., thank you God. I am still here, breathing under the sun and I am thankful for each and everyday. Mom cooked thanksgiving dinner and is dropping it off for me and hubby, as I have to work today. I hope everyone enjoys the holiday today. The sun is brite, but it’s cold here… bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrr
