Dolce & Gabanna Miss Sicily Satchel (Scarf version)

This is possibly a really weird question.
I really adore the Miss Sicily bags in general, and I am attracted to this particular version, not because of the actual scarf details, but because there is no logo on the front flap of the bag.
If I got this bag, I would want to be able to remove the scarf from the top handle, but I'm not sure if this is possible. Is the scarf sewn or attached in such a way where removal would be impossible? Or can I remove it from this bag without causing damage?

I searched for a D&G Forum re:Sicily bags, and only found your thread... !! Anyway, I can't help answer your question, since I don't own a Sicily bag. But, I was wondering how you like your Sicilys and if you have a large sized one? I'm strangely attracted to denim bags, and I find the large denim Sicily something I may try but I have been unable to find any reviews on the bag/style/comfort in general. Thanks for any input. If I happen to get to D&G and see your scarf Sicily, I will try to answer your particular Q.

I have only one so far, and it's a Small size. It fits the essentials for me, but not really much else I love how feminine it is, and I love how sturdy the leather is. It will probably hold up and keep its lovely shape for a long, long time.
Unfortunately, I haven't even seen a Large or Medium in person, as I don't live near a boutique. I also can't comment in the denim in particular, as I have never seen one in person. I'll probably be ordering a Medium sized one at some point this year, but I'm not entirely sure when.
