Ok, Me and the hubby are getting an early start on the christmas shopping this weekend....my idea since Macys friends and family is this weekend too! Picking out a Michael Kors bag for myself. I love the monogram look and I already have 2 in the brown. I really love the Vanilla but can I carry it now, or is it strictly for spring/summer? What do you girls carry as far as seasons?

I think the vanilla color would be fine for fall/winter. To me, it's not a super bright white that I would consider a spring/summer only color. I'd definitely carry a vanilla MK bag in the winter.

Thanks for the reply! I am really leaning towards the vanilla. Something different and bright for the winter!

This has now become my everyday bag. It's also a light color and it fits perfectly fine for the winter season. I've had so many compliments carrying it. I love the fact that it's convertible into an evening bag. I think you should be fine with the vanilla color;)

I love MK logo pvc (brown, black, vanilla) because it is subtle logo, durable and lightweight.
If you already have brown, go for vanilla as well. It will make a perfect winter white color against dark jackets or sweaters.

Vanilla is beautiful for the winter months. I still follow the old no white before Memorial Day or after labor day, but that's stark white. And I've read in quite a few magazines that that thinking is now passe anyway. But nothing's ever been said against vanilla or "winter white". Wear it with confidence!

Thanks for all the replies! Definitely getting vanilla monogram this weekend....just not sure of what bag. Been eyeing the work tote!

I always thought light colours in winter were weird but this winter I've been carrying a beige bag and the look has really grown on me. I think you'll get a lot of use out of the vanilla.
