Dog Leash Clips For Coach Fobs

Thanks to everyone who posted! You all have been very helpful. I think I will check out my local ACE hardware in the morning and see what they have. If not all the links will come in handy i'm sure!

I got one of brass and one nickle plated b/c sometimes the trigger snaps I'm about to post link to are too small for some 0 - rings on some coach bags. Not all, but some.

For the fobs I order this size, in brass PLATE (not the brass--it won't match your bag hardware at ALL) and in nickel plate:

I have a hard time finding them locally also. I've gone to thrift shops, bought $1 and $2 crappy beat up old non designer "mini skinnies" or cheap nylon/vinyl purses with straps that have the dog leash clip as part of their design, and cut off the dog leash clips. Cheap and perfect. Also, I think there are bulk buying places online (like KateV indicates above) and there are a LOT of threads about this and lots of links provided in other old threads if you do a search for it on here.

My mom bought me a bunch of mini dog leash clips from a flea market. My local Ace, home depot, and lowes all had nothing small enough. If you have a local flea market I'd suggest trying there.

I have thought about doing the exact same thing with the tassels, because I just bought the Travel Mix Key Chain, but I do not want to use it as a key chain and mess it up, so I want to use it as a purse fob. Thanks for confirming an idea I had.

Thank you for the link! I purchased these the other day and they came today. They work PERFECT to attach my fobs to my duffle, Molly, and Ashley bags.

I ordered thoses exact ones. Metal SWIVEL CLIPS SNAP Hook TRIGGER Lanyard Lobster Clasp 2/4" 12mm

Think what I will do is find big jump rings or washers to put around the purse rings then I can use the clips that came in. It really shouldn't be this difficult-lol
