Hello everyone! I just bought beautiful pre loved speedy 25. I took it out of the box today! And already my lovely dog has drooled on it. I’m super upset because this bag had no watermarks before. I thought the honey patina would protect me from water spots! What can I do to make them go away? Can you treat pAtina with Apple guard? Anything else I should do to prevent this in the future? My other LV are black leather or DE so I’m not sure what to do with vachetta. Thanks!

Can you maybe wipe the handles with a water wipe (no alcohol, no fragrance, etc)?
I’ve seen people recommend that. I might try it today. I happen to have those lying around because I have a Brand new baby! How wet can it be though. Sometime those wipes are pretty wet right out if the package. Also, do you know, at what point in the patina process can I stop worrying about water? My bag is already pretty dark so I thought it would not be so delicate. Thanks!!

Congratulations on the baby! I wouldn't have it soaking wet. And I think if u do that periodically u don't have to worry about the water. It'll even out.

Don’t you just love our fur babies
Hope you can get it looking better but in all honesty it doesn’t look bad….. My niece borrowed my sister in laws neverfull and her friends dog chewed the handles off, I’ve never seen a bag look so destroyed, LV restored it and you’d think it was a brand new bag, luckily for my niece who was certainly in the dog house along with the dog:lol:

My little girl is definitely my baby, can’t stay made at her for too long! That’s so sad about the Neverfull but the good thing is, we can always send to LV to get the leather replaced! Between my newborn and my doggy this bag might start looking bad in a few years, if that’s the case I’ll just send it off to France to get rehabbed!!
