Does Transferwise have good buyer protection?

I am thinking to buy a Chanel mini from an IG seller in the US and this would be my very first time buying a Chanel bag online and overseas. Just wondering if Transferwise has good buyer protection in case something unexpected happened ie: Seller didn't post the bag to me or the bag is not authentic

Thanks all

Please have the bag check if it’s authentic first and if your seller have paypal, please request for PayPal invoices, if you happened to not get your item or the bag is not authentic you can get your monkey back.

Transferwise is just a transfer platform, like forex counters.

they offer better exchange rate compared to paypal, but no protection. Make sure the bag is authentic and seller is not a scammer

If you use the Transferwise debit card, you would have a small chance of a chargeback, but it is not really built for that. In case you do not want to pay for the extortionate PayPal exchange rates, just use the Transferwise debit card in PayPal and pay in the original currency, best of two worlds...

I understand this is an older thread ... but I'm in the middle of researching this issue i.e. buyer's protection if using Wise.

If I fund my wise (seller advised it's possible) using credit card, can I claim charge back if item's missing/damaged/not sent?

Thanks

Does the seller want you transfer the money from Wise? I would not do this, buyer protection is not what Wise is built for. The credit card funding itself will not be eligible for charge back since Wise will not lose your money.
