I dug up some old sterling silver jewelry items and I was wondering if Tiffany offers free silver cleaning/polishing. (I would be going to the NYC store.) I also have a pair of earrings that need a quick repair (the post is crooked); would they fix that for free? Thanks!

Google how to clean silver with baking soda, foil and boiling water. It cleans wonderfully and won’t dissolve a layer of the silver.
My experience with Tiffany silver is that they do simple cleaning for free always, but if you want any polishing, plating or repairs they charge unless the item is less than a year old.

Also, I swear by these and keep one on my travel case. They’re super cheap but do a wonderful job of helping maintain clean jewelry
My best guess is that Tiffany will clean/polish/repair its items only; but there are fabulous ways to clean your jewelry on-line. I tend to wear the same gold/diamond/silver/platinum items all the time and I’m too lazy to store them in their boxes, so I just keep them in a cup of white vinegar in my kitchen until I’m ready to use them again and. They’re always clean and sparkly.
