YES!!! Only 300 and above please!! I think paying a little more for extra softness and durablitiy is worth it...especially these days when you can get great deals on high thread count sheets on overstock.com or amazon.com!!

It depends for me but I usually purchase the higher thread count because once you go with the higher thread count the other ones usually feel rougher and not as comfortable. I don't see myself going below 300 either, it is just too comfortable!!!!!

Im not sure about TC but i ONLY purchase bed sheets from Yves Delorme and/or Frette and it has to be sateen.
