Basically, this. Does the yellow gold version look mature? Compared with other VCA jewellery or jewellery in general?
I think I remember reading some posts mentioning this but I cannot remember if it was the yellow gold or the pave line specifically.

Absolutely not… it looks gorgeous and can be styled in so many different ways. I have pave YG earrings and pendant necklace. I wear my pave yellow gold Alhambra earrings with a chunky Tiffany hardware necklace for a bit of an edgy look. Sometimes I layer pave Alhambra necklace with Roberto coin paperclip necklace: another modern look. It actually works great with any casual outfits and jeans. I feel white gold pace looks more formal and dressier. There is nothing about it that can be dated or too mature: it’s just a clover design with a diamond sparkle. Also, it’s not that big in size…

I think what you mean is does it look more classy/grown up compared to the stones? If you’re looking for smth a little more youthful, I would suggest looking into white MOP (ethereal, youthful, feminine vibe), carnelian and blue agate (pop of colour, fun), onyx (edgy). But to answer your question, no yellow gold doesn’t make you look mature.
