Does the white birkin get yellowish?

I am thinking to buy a white birkin but someone told me the white leather will get slightly yellowish years later. Is it true? If it gets dirty, can it be cleaned easily?

that was another concern of mine. I wear jeans alot and I do carry my white one with jeans. I am just really careful and so far so good. I think this applies to any light color bags since the get tinted with jeans easily.

Yes it will turn yellow-ish and it will get color transfer from your jeans. If you can handle sending it off to Hermes to get re-whitened and having it gone for a few months, then go for it! A white Birkin is lovely in the warm, sunny weather.......

Depends on your H store and how busy the craftman is. And there's no exact way you can predict when it will start to turn yellow. My white epsom is 3.5 years old, and it's still pure white.
