Michael Kors does stuff fall out of the grommets?

I like the look of the grommets, but I was wondering- does stuff come out of the grommets from your purse?

I don't own one, but IRL they don't appear large enough that things would fall out?

I have a Miranda with the gromments, one of my favorite bags, I've carried it off and on for several months and nothing has fallen out of the holes in the gromments, think they are too small for most things to fall through.

My mom has the Selma grommet. I'm pretty sure the lining covers them so it's not actually holes.

Yeah I have the medium Selma grommet messenger and the lining inside covers the grommets. It looks like there's also a layer of leather under the grommets as well so nothing can get in the grommets.

I have the Miranda with the grommets and they do go all the way through but they are too small for anything to go out.
