Hi everyone,
Haven’t seen this question posted before. Does LV repair screen printed items and mon monogram?
I’m going to make a virtual appointment with a Louis Vuitton specialist to see if this bag can be repaired. It looks like the same problem mentioned above. The monogram has completely rubbed off on one side and partially off of the other. I have not used in any chemicals, nor had it stored in a place where it could be damaged. It looks like it just rubbed off from my arm or my side from carrying it on my shoulder. The bag is in very good condition otherwise.the actual screen print, no. they repair parts (i.e. leather components
I am sad to see, because the leather is indeed very nice, but they will most certainly refuse and will say it is wear and tear. Since the wear is in that particular area, they can argue that is was from use. But even if it was only at the bottom, they wouldn't touch it, because they never ever repair canvasI’m going to make a virtual appointment with a Louis Vuitton specialist to see if this bag can be repaired. Oh no! The bag is beautiful otherwise! No stains, marks or tears on the interior or exterior, just the worn off monogram near the handle. I’ve had at least 4 Louis Vuitton bags in the past and never seen anything like this!I am sad to see, because the leather is indeed very nice, but they will most certainly refuse and will say it is wear and tear. It is rare, but there have been a few cases like this on the forum. Almost all of them totes or hobos, and always the underarm area was affected. Shouldn't happen and I feel that in most cases it is not the wearer's fault, but Vuitton can easily argue, that it was sweat or sunscreen or body lotion that got in contact with the canvas.Oh no! I certainly appreciate your response, at least I won’t be expecting too much. I’ll definitely try anyway, and post their final decision. It is rare, but there have been a few cases like this on the forum. Please do try. It would be nice if they'd do the right thing for once when it comes to canvas wear.I certainly appreciate your response, at least I won’t be expecting too much. I’ll definitely try anyway, and post their final decision.
