Does it matter where the bag was made?

Hi everyone! This is my second post and it's very exciting! I think it's so wonderful that there are so many other LV lovers out there. Most of my friends and co-workers are not bag fanatics so it's great to find a website where I can share my love/obsession.

I was wondering, does the country in which a LV purse was made in make a difference, other than personal preference? I have purchased several bags and except for the Galliera PM (which is made in France) they are all made in USA.

I think it's just preference. I much prefer made in France.

Bienvenue! I don't think it does...of my two purses, one is made in Spain the other Made in USA...my zippy coin purse is made in France...they all give me the same wonderful feeling when I carry them

I totally agree. The quality is the same no matter where it was made, but I just prefer bags made in France!
