Hello Ladies,

Got a question about whether FSH allows me to pick up birkin days later after i pay for it first?
I have read that there are cases of theft inside hotel rooms where things or money have been gone missing.
I am not going to let that happen to me. I intend to bring the bag back instead of mailing it to myself.

How do you keep your birkin safe before you fly out of Paris?

Thanks.

I had left my purchase at the boutique , as I did not wanna be driving around Europe with H Boxes in the boot of the rental car ........... They were happy to keep them for me until my return which was a month later.............HTH...........

While I was in Paris, I kept all the purchases, boxes, paper bags into my luggage, locked it, strap lock it (with key lock) and my watches purchases with me the whole day in my handbag. I think it should be quite safe. That's why I stayed in rue cambon which is very accessible to all the famous shopping streets.

I shopped, went back to hotel to keep the loots and out I go shopping again!

I did the same as everyone else too, kept all the orange boxes with the bags inside my luggage, locked it up and stored it in the wardrobe.....
we took a cab back from FSH as we had 4 huge shopping bags to avoid being mugged too....good luck shopping in Paris btw, its the most amazing experience ever!!!!

I had mine delivered to the hotel and tried keeping all inside the luggage. Some I just left inside the cabinet. Nothing was lost, thank goodness.

I have done this in the past when I've made expensive purchases, H and others, while travelling. If I have valuables in the room that are in sight, I always have housekeeping clean when I am actually in the room. I make sure to put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door when I am out. That way no one enters the room in my absence.

FSH has messengered bags to my hotel several times. I have not had any issues with theft in hotels or on the streets, and I have been to Paris over 20 times.
I am sure you can ask the store to hold your purchases and messenger/pick up at a later time. Good luck!

in addition to the "do not disturb" sign, i leave the tv or radio on. not to loud but just loud enough.
