I recently purchased a kelly 32 from a commonly trusted reseller and was told that my Kelly's date stamp is on the strap (circle T, year 1990) instead of behind the strap on the front of the bag. The authentication team says that the blind stamp I see on the back of the front strap, which includes K in no shape, is a craftsman stamp instead of a date stamp.
If k is the actual date stamp, the bag dates to 1955 instead of 1990. Could it be that the original owner purchased the shoulder strap in 1990 separately, or the shoulder strap stamp is the date stamp)?
