I purchased a Multicolor bag from a store (the bag wasn’t available online anymore) and had it shipped to me - but the canvas/stitching looks slightly frayed compared to another bag I purchased from this same collection. It’s not a huge deal (at least I’m telling myself that!), but I’m wondering if the variation might be because I unwittingly purchased a display bag? Is that something Gucci would do? The SA did say it was the last of this item they had in stock... of course I’d like to think the variation between bags is normal, in which case it’s fine, but if it’s due to wear and I’m paying full price, I think I might return. Thanks for any insight!

Yes, they do sell bags off the floor. When I purchased my small Jackie before the price increase, it was the last one they had in stock, so I took it. Gucci usually sells you a new bag unless they don't have any left, then it's the display. However, their bags are so popular, it's usually not on display for me than 2 or 3 days. I don't have a problem with buying displays because LV does this all the time. If you ask any LV SA they will tell you that there are no displays. Everything on the shelves are for sale and that's how they rotate their inventory.
