Does e_bay randomly send coupons after you sell an item?

I remember back in December I sold 2 items on the bay and received 2 10% off coupon codes shortly after (course I had no use for them at the time). Just curious because I'm selling something now and have my eyes on something on the bay at the same time. TIA!

We just bought a few things (and sold a few too) and we got an 8%. We've gotten coupons before, too.

I've been selling small time for about a year and I just got a 8% off coupon too. I wouldn't mind getting another one though.

Once I got a fake bag on ebay and tried to return it to the seller. The bag was returned to me, but ebay gave me a $500 coupon (more than what I paid for the bag).

i've gotten a few 10% off coupons (mostly last year) and they were typically after 2-3 months of not using ebay. i personally think they give coupons to ppl who haven't been purchasing on ebay lately, to "lure" them into buying something (it worked on me! )

It's odd, I have gotten some pretty much randomly, back when I didn't sell. But then I have been active for a while and just sold some things, and I got an 8% one just now. Sad that it's now 8% off instead of 10 though, I have my eye on a Bal and it's $800 That's $16 difference!
