Does Disco seem "young"?

Looking for an every day bag, and trying to size down from the Neverfull/tote bags.

Love the Disco, altho the bag seems a bit young? or is it just the name? am in 50's. Also thinking about the LV NeoNoe.

which is just a dang practical bag.

Thoughts?

I think the disco is okay for any age, but the pull tassel is difficult for many people. Have you tried one yet to see if you like it? I bought one for my mom who is 60, older than you, but she found it hard to open and so did I, so she asked me to return it. I ended up getting her a regular Louis Vuitton pochette. I have no experience with the Louis Vuitton bucket bag but it does seem more practical and spacious. Maybe not a good crossbody, though, if you like that.

I’m 49. I have a rose beige disco and hopefully red on the way. It’s a classic style. Nothing young about it imo

I think you posted with the Valentino right? Disco is a small bag. It’s fine for me as everyday cauz I don’t carry much but it would depend on how much you carry.

I like the neonoe but it looked terrible on me. Bulky. I think if you try them you’ll know which makes your heart sing.

I have both - love both ( in my 50's too :) ) I don't see them as comparable and wear them differently. The Soho Disco is my cross body go-to bag while the Neonoe is more like your Neverfull. The Disco holds a lot but nowhere near as much as the Neonoe.

I agree with everyone else. they are completely different style bags with different uses. It's not my taste, but I feel that way based on size not age. I'm 39.

I am in my 30s, and I own two Discos. Like others said above, it's a very classic camera bag style so I think it would be suitable for you. The tassle does add a fun touch :) IMO it actually makes it easier to open since I can grab the tassle more easily than a small zipper!

I’ve got both the rose beige and the green, I’m 49, I probably dress quite casually as I don’t work due to illness but I don’t think the style is young, I agree it’s a classic.
