Does Damier (with brown handles) develop patina?

Hi everyone!

I personally hate the look of patina on my LV bags. It's just not for me. That's why I've recently bought a Damier Papillon.

I really want an LV speedy, so naturally I'm planning to buy a Damier Speedy.

Before I make my new purchase I want to ask you: does patina develop on the brown handles? Do they become even darker with age? Scorched black or whatever?

No. the leather on damier has been dyed and treated so they do not patina

I do wonder since I've seen Epi bags on eBay that have blackened handles, and correct me please but I thought those were treated as well?

Hmmm... those ones are blue, not dark brown. Maybe they just got dirty?

I still have hope that Damier doesn't darken. I really want that Speedy for everyday use!

I don't know how or why, but I'm already over the Azur infatuation. It only lasted for 2 weeks, and now I'm on a regular Damier Canvas kick again.

Damier Canvas is TIMELESS.
