Hello everyone, i realized my new classic medium double flap black caviar gold chain looks more gold compared to the CC , i wonder if its always that way or just my bag. I heard it happened for the seasonal classic flap but mine is not seasonal though. I appreciate all the feedback.
does Chanel M/L classic flap gold chain color match with the CC ?

I bought my medium cf with ghw a few years ago and the cc turnlock gold matches the chain. Here is a pic when I last took her out. Sorry it’s a bit dark.
Here is my bag, The CC color is lighter than the chain gold color. i'm not sure if it's normal nowadays for CF
Interesting. Your CC turnlock does seem lighter than the chain, but it is just a slight difference - I wouldn't have noticed if you did not point it out. However, if it bothers you, it might help to bring it to the boutique and see what they say. Not sure if recent classics are the same since I bought mine in 2018.
Thank you. I just messaged my SA and probably will bring it back the store to ask tomorrow. i actually went through 3 bags before finally found a decent one. The first one the quilts look deflated, the second time with all loose threads and the 3rd one looked very hard looking caviar. My SA was so nice to help me out, i kept inspecting really carefully at the store but for some reason i always end up finding out the issues after taking the bag home.
Hi, I’m sorry you have this issue but I don’t think this is normal. I know a few stores who received some classics recently with this issue of mismatched hardware and according to the SA, the bags were sent back to “Paris” for inspection and repair.
I’m sorry it’s been a struggle. Buying luxury bags should not be this stressful. Hope everything works out for you.
Thank you dear. I brought the bag back to the store. My SA was very nice and helpful. She brought out few more bags for me to compare and pick the one that i feel most happy with. So i got the new exchange. Im very surprised that this location carries so many classic flap caviar with ghw cus i went through like 5 of them and they have like 7 or 8 in stock. I guess due to high price, less demand.
They have like 7-8 black classic flap ghw in stock. Most of them have mismatched hardware. The store manager told me there will always be slightly different and its normal. She said its not defect but of course i know they would tell us that
Yea definitely will bother me forever if i keep it. I brought it back the store and exchanged for new one which is better
