Does Chanel Counter at Saks take Amex reward certificate?

I have some american express points I want to redeem and was debating between a gift certificate between Saks and Bloomingdales. I want to put it towards a Chanel Cerf and was wondering if the Chanel counter at Saks would accept Amex reward saks certificate? Has anybody tried it?

If Saks accepts AMEX they'd accept that.
I got $250 AMEX gift card for Christmas and used it at the Gucci counter @ Neimans.
You can always call to make sure though!
