I have a *Bay rant and am not sure what to do. I sold a purse to a lady a few weeks back and wanted to ship before I left for vacation. Well, she never responded to the invoice and never paid (I even took time out of my vacation to email her)....So when I got back, I opened an Unpaid Item complaint with *Bay and they are giving her until Saturday to respond......Why are they giving her all this time when she hasnt responded to the first invoice??? Then Im nervouse if I close the complaint and give her an unpaid item strike, she will leave bad feedback...is there a way to fight bad feedback?? Please help ladies, suggestions on how to approach the subject???? Thank you!!

If a buyer doesn't pay, you can open the non-paying bidder complaint, which gives buyers some time to respond, and when they don't, they get a strike. If you go to the Feedback section of fBay's Help pages, you will find the reasons for which you could request a feedback be removed. There's a list. Outside of that, there's nothing you can do.

If she doesn't respond to the dispute, she cannot leave FB for you. If you haven't heard from her by now, chances are she will not respond. But if she does respond and is a non-paying buyer and leaves a neg, you can fight it with ebay and will probably get it removed. Here is a thread from a seller who fought and won:

Fuming! Non-paying bidder ruined my 100% feedback!

I do think all sellers who are in this situation should be able to file a NPB without fear of feedback retribution from the buyer. Habitual non paying buyers should not be on ebay and I think if sellers put enough pressure on ebay they will change their FB rules and not allow a non paying buyer to leave FB whether they participate in the disupte or not.
