do you just throw it lose in your bag? or put it inside a pouch or something?

I did use the type you have posted until I found the Biacci one - I love having that center compartment. This is what I use for my wallet, I have become spoiled. I sold all of my 'big' wallets because they just didn't work at all for me anymore.

And why put it in a cover? It's a wallet. It does a great job.

I thought about that when I saw you'd bought that MCM... I've been using mine non-stop with the exception of a couple of weeks for almost a year now, and it's in great shape; color isn't coming off, nothing. Just bought the peacock one for a friend's birthday that's coming up - she'd seen mine a while back and I thought she was going to swoon.
