I saw this around Christmas and loved it but the price was too steep. Now I am seeing on sale and it looks even lovelier than in pics

I was curious about how this bag would wear, obviously not an everyday bag. The red is really red so I feel wardrobe choices are limited. I never wear all black which would look perfect with this. But it is soooo beautiful

Thoughts? Does anyone own it? Or think I should take the plunge? It is the small/medium Susannah with quilted lambskin sides black leather and red leopard calf hair

This bag looks pretty busy (between the quilting, red leopard print, gold chain detail, etc.) but perhaps it's more charming in person. It's not my style, but with anything that doesn't really appeal to me, I keep in mind that there's someone out there that can rock it and make it work for them. It just takes vision. So if you love it and can make it work with your wardrobe then you should go for it.

I saw a smaller bag with the flap with the same chain and red leopard print calf hair exterior, at the MK outlet. The bag was really pretty, but I try to stay away from bags with calf hair exterior. Calf hair needs to be babied, and you have to be careful how you handle the bag b/c calf hair can easily rub off.
I had that happen to one of my favorite bags with calf hair exterior. I looked up one day and a lot of the calf hair had rubbed off on my coat. When I inspected the bag, I noticed it now had a bald spot.
