Hi does anyone know what the price was for the open heart brooch when it was available to buy, seen varying prices for secondhand preloved but can't find info about original price.

Kinda hard to say given Tiffany & Co's incremental price increases (price will vary widely from initial introduction to its retirement from the collection).

anything would be a help so i can judge if a second hand one is a good price or not ,not sure when this one was discontinued and as new to tiffany I don't know much about discontinued items only what's on the website now. thanks for your reply

I remember seeing one for something like 110 USD years ago.

I saw one today on malleries that had previously sold for 250 usd which made me wonder if they had even been that much new , seems a lot for second hand

It might be because it is discontinued, if there is a high demand and a limited supply, then it stands to reason that the price shall rise.
