I love the Cartier love bracelet. I never wear mine. I want a round one I guess. Solid like the LOVE. 18k and can come off. I am searching and no such luck.
I guess I can have one made.

Has anyone seen nice good quality thick solid gold bangles, the size of LOVE?

Good point! I have a lot of Indian jewelry (some custom-made), and 22K bangles are very easy to obtain. I find that their prices are quite a bit cheaper than gold (14k, yet!) jewelry in the U.S. For reference, about 8 years ago, I had 2 rather narrow, rasied work 22k gold bangles custom-made. I paid only $300 USD each for them. (Of course, gold was much cheaper per ounce back then, but even so, that was quite a good price.)

This exact search is what led me to my Love. Since you aren't loving (ha) yours, I will tell you the other line I was thinking seriously about were the Ippolitas. They were the only other bracelets I found (didn't look into VCA or anything like that) that didn't have something 'off' about them.

What about the Hermes CDC solid gold bracelet? I think purseinsanity has one and it has a similar look to the Love but can come off more easily.

I agree with Asian stores/towns. Gold bangles are very common and usually come in greater karats than your generic 14k. If you have a China/Japan town or Asian mall nearby it would definitely be worth the trip. Or maybe ask your Asian friends/coworkers to suggest a jeweler. It's a safe bet that there would be some fabulous bangles in any of their stores.

Thanks everyone! I don't like 22 k gold as it looks bad with my skintone. 18k is the best.
I also want a solid peice. Around 40 grams like the love. I think I will have something made. I can't find what I want.

The tiffany's is pretty. But I do not like the Tiffany name there. LOL.

Also I have tons of 18k Ippolita and her bangles are not solid and wayy overpriced. They are more hallow and electroform and not solid and weighty. I already have her things. I want something that looks like the love , but is round, not oval and maybe with stones set inside.

I think you'll need to go custom-made especially if you want to add gemstones.

The only ones I have seen that were similar to the Loves were either costume jewelry or the Hawaiian bracelets. The Hawaiian bracelets are round but they have designs on top. Gwen Stefani has some. I think you can find sites that sell them online if you are interested.

Don't you have a bracelet that was custom made with gemstones? Wasn't that a bangle? I don't think you shared any picture. I would love to see it.
