I know it is the Joplin in Tiger, but not sure when it was marketed. I have a problem now with the leather handles splitting wondering how old it is.

BTW, the seller I received this bag from says she only used it TWICE! Yeah right! I wish I would have taken more time to inspect it when I received it, but I was leaving for vaca. I forgot about the bag until last week, then I take it out to use it and this happens! What a HORRIBLE seller!

I tried to find some info via Google and I did find this Polyvore link : http://www.polyvore.com/michael_michael_kors_joplin_tiger-print/thing?id=6433 where someone had saved this bag over 5 years ago, so it's at least that old.

It may be possible that was only used twice but through the years, the leather handles have dried and cracked? Just a thought, but either way, it should have been disclosed.

Did you contact the seller? If you paid with PayPal, you can always file SNAD if the seller won't accept a return. I think you have 45 days to file SNAD.

Thanks, unfortunately its past the 45 days. My fault for not inspecting it closer when I received it. Worse yet, I waited after several auctions had closed to leave feedbacks and left her positive feedback along with the others! At the time I had no idea about the handles. So unfortunately I can't do anything nor can ebay.

I just have to be more careful of unscrupulous sellers and inspect more purchases more carefully! I still don't know how I missed those handles!!!

I don't know anything about this particular style bag but from the picture it looks to me like the top and bottom layer of the handles have split apart?
If so, then I'm thinking you could take it into a shoe cobbler or leather repair place and they could reseal it to get it fixed pretty quickly and it wouldn't be that expensive.
Good luck!

Thank you. I will have to see if there are any in my area. I filed a chargeback with my CC company though, so I will have to wait and see until it is resolved to do that though.
