Does Anyone Keep Car Keys Inside a Vernis Key Pouch?

I do not. I've used this pouch since 2009 and none of the three car fobs I've had in that time would fit in there without stretching the pouch. I also don't use it for storing house keys to protect my bags. My preference is to use the clip for my keys and Swiss Army knife, and I put cards and other wallet items inside.
My car key fob doesn't really fit properly inside any of the clés I have, so I attach it to the clip instead. I prefer that. I keep coins, shopping trolley tokens, coffee loyalty cards, parking stubs etc inside the pouch.
As a side note, I have a few different key holders - 4-key and 6-key, and the only one that shows any wear is my pomme Vernis one. There is a bit of scratching, scuffing and black marks from the keys on the interior lining. This hasn't happened with my canvas ones or my Epi leather one. I don't think I'd buy a Vernis key holder again, unless it's the key pouch like yours and only if I planned not to put keys inside it.

I sometimes do, but not often and only because my fob IS the key (keyless ignition). Otherwise I just use my canvas ones since they're more roomy and leave the vernis one to hold cards, bills, etc.
Mine is canvas and I easily fit my key fob and two keys on the ring and tuck it inside. It easily zips. I can then keep my keys from damaging the inside of my bag or other items, or can slip them into a slip pocket. I do not use my cles as a wallet. I have a wallet for that....lol
I could fit my fob inside but I do what the above poster does. Plus I keep my work scan paper inside.
