I’ve had both these pieces for less than a year and for the first time I looked closely at them side by side. Is it just me or do you see a clear difference in how the diamonds are set in the pendant compared to the bracelet? Do any of you have a pave piece that looks similar to how my pendant is set. I feel like I’m overthinking, but the more I stare the more my OCD is kicking in. Worst fear is did they sell me a kn*ckoff?!!?

Hello @allieadventurer, it must be worrying to think about that. However, if you purchased your VCA piece from the store or online boutique then it should be authentic so please rest assured. On the VCA website, the YG pave diamond necklace’s setting looks like this similar to what you have. IMG_3107.webp
In comparison, this is the setting for the alternating YG guilloche and pave diamond 5 motif bracelet that you also have. IMG_3109.webpIt seems that there might be some slight differences in settings on the pave alhambra pieces as I have seen some on the resale market set like yours. Perhaps, over time, VCA has changed its pave setting or perhaps because each piece is handmade by various artisans causing the piece to look slightly different. I hope this might help ease your overthinking. Enjoy your beautiful VCA pieces and have a wonderful day.

Here are some pictures of the YG pave diamond necklace from luxury resale websites in Japan:

What specifically is the difference?

If you bought it a the boutique don’t worry.
I see a difference in the colour of the gold.

The gold on my lapis/pave is dirty gold and the gold on my turquoise/pave is sunny gold. Thickness seemed different too. But I never doubted their authenticity since they are 2 years apart and I am the original buyer.

There are no authenticity concerns to worry about if you buy direct from the boutique. Both your necklace and bracelet look normal as well as beautiful.

Since any tiny variation is very small and because you won't wear them next to each other, no one would ever notice at all! Wear them and enjoy them.

Thank you for providing many examples. I purchased both pieces in boutique.

The outline isn’t very present in the pendant compared to the bracelet. It’s covered by the beaded boarder.
I see. These are all hand finished. I would expect some variation, so I don’t see those as differences. That’s just me. If they were purchased directly from the boutique I would have no worries. And to be honest I’ve never put mine next to each other to stare at the sizes of the beads and search for variations in color. Generally My more worn pieces have less shine and seem more dull.
