Does anyone have the Molly watch?

I'm finally in the market for a new watch. I really like the way the Marc by Marc Jacobs mini Molly watch looks. Would it be a good buy? Can anyone post modeling pics?

I'm in love with the anthracite color... it's less flashy than the silver one.

Well it depends on what you would consider to be a "good buy" first off! But if you mean if the watch will retain its value or more in the later years - then definitely no. It's a novelty watch and novelty watches do not retain value, especially since the workmanship is average or so!
But if you really love the watch and it speaks to you - you should go for it!

I'm more concerned about workmanship than value retention... I tend to hold onto things for a loooong time . I'm just kind of "meh" about watches. My current one is a kid's swatch. It's machine washable but I think it's time for a little more "grown-up" watch. I guess I'll check it out for myself in real life. Would you recommend any other brands in the under $200 range? I know that's pretty limited, but that's what I want to spend. I really like the way it looks, though. I guess only an in-person visit will seal the deal!
Perhaps I'll go check out Swatch again. They have some cute ones... and the ones I like are a little cheaper, too.

To get a good feel for the watch as well as the workmanship, I would go check it out in person! Also, just because you see it online, doesnt mean its "you"! Once you try it on, I'm sure youll know if youre loving it or not! (Unless you already did, then my bad!) I personally prefer bracelet watches as I feel that strap watches are not so "everyday" but rather "weekend" watches, just because bracelet watches can stand up the daily banging!

If I buy anything (other than something I know is safe, like Paige jeans or t-shirts) I have to see it in person. This is especially true with watches! I'll probably head out this weekend... but now I'm leaning towards Swatch.
