To get to the original question, I do wish that furs would experience a comeback, and -- they actually they are. The current MOB WIFE phenomenon is a fun trend to dress up, put on the glam make-up and pull that fur coat out of the closet to top off the look.
My grandparents were in the fur business years ago and I learned a great deal about the design, construction and value of a fur coat. It is truly an art. Thus I have long appreciated the benefits of a fur vs cloth or even faux, and enjoy wearing a fur coat when the weather or occasion permits. Though it took me quite some time to gather the courage to wear even my raccoon coat out in public, the encouragement I received once "out there" was so enthusiastically positive, that I regretted not doing so earlier in life. This even amidst the so-called anti-fur years. I did read once that over 60% of the public either approves of fur wearing or is indifferent about it. But in my case the percentage seems much higher!
