Doe this look more like a scuff or canvas crack?

This is a 7 year old Neverfull GM in the rose ballerine interior. I never packed her full or even let sit on the ground. If cracked and with continued care how much life do you think is left? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Not really, it feels smooth like the rest of the canvas but the scratch color is what makes me wonder if it’s just the interior fabric poking through since it is the pink interior. I was looking at my speedy in the same damier ebene canvas but with a red interior and it too has similar tiny pink speck-like scratches on the outside so I’m honestly more confused lol?

Sorry this happened to your bag. To me, it looks from the pic like there’s a small piece of canvas missing on the surface. It’s hard to say, whether it’s a scratch (maybe with a sharp object) or

No worries! I too had this same suspicion. I guess it’s normal wear and tear since I’ve had her for 7 years now. It’s actually a tiny tear so I’ll keep an eye out on it and hopefully it doesn’t tear even more.

That is exactly the case. Something sharp must have caught into the PVC. But it is not the end of the world; even the cotton canvas base is extremely strong on its own. I guess even if you'd max out its theoretical capacity (which you won't, no one does), it would still last for years and years.
