I used to keep all of my shoes in clear plastic shoe boxes but recently decided it was too difficult seeing through the boxes and had too many neglected shoes in boxes, so instead reverted to shoe racks. We keep most of our shoes by the front door so I have many nice shoes there, as well as a smaller rack in my closet. However I'm worried about shoes getting dusty, particularly those I don't wear all that often. My question is, should I put the nicer shoes in their dustbag and keep them by the front door? Would this make it more difficult to see what is in each dustbag? Or should they go in my closet (even though I'm less likely to wear them if they are in my closet?
