and the money to send off a regular "H" belt to Spa/Reconditioning?

It's only two years old (J stamp), and I don't think I've used it "that" much. The strap is the typical gold togo and black box. The togo side is immaculate but the black side is horrible. As some of you know I've got a navy box Jige GM wich is much older and much more used with much less usage marks (plus the leather just feels hardier after the years). I know that maybe you cannot compare a Jige and a belt from point of usage, but anyways...!

Also, the waxing on the sides is almost peeled off entirely, as you can see in the pics.

Do you think it is worth the wait and the money to send it off to Paris? Has anyone done this?

The buckle also has its scrathes and marks, but I don't mind the buckle as much as the leather strap.

It really depends on how much is the cost... will your SA be able to give you an estimate? In the meanwhile you can purchase another strap without the buckle.
