Do you spray your light colored Chanels for protection?

Hi all,

I recently purchased a beige claire caviar m/l flap, and am wondering whether I should spray it to protect it (I've seen other people suggest carbon pro). Do you / would you recommend doing so with light colored bags?

Thank you!!

Hi. I'm also wondering whether to spray my new caviar with the waterproofing or not. I saw in Havre de luxe that they have spray to protect but I'm not sure. Does anyone have experience with this?

I don’t spray mine but I did recently take my white Chanel classic flap in for a cleaning and button replacement. Chanel did a fabulous job with my bag and it looks brand new! I’d just use the bags as usual and then take it in for servicing as needed. The most important thing is to enjoy what you have and use it otherwise it’s not worth having. I wouldn’t sweat the small stuff.

I just received my 3-step Care Kit from Havre de luxe and sprayed it on my new coral caviar WOC so that I can wear (maybe) with jeans if I want to. Leather still looks the same. Didn’t see any change at all.
