Do you remember Jelly Kelly bags?

Ha! I totally remember wanting one of these! But the ones that made it to retailers around here were made out of a stiff plastic and looked deformed. This is when I first got into bags, and was searching hi and lo for a decent looking "birkin inspired" bag. I never found one.

I had a couple made by Maxima Italy, a pink and black one. Got rid of both but wished I kept the black one for the beach and rainy days.

They were pretty well made but I didn't use them enough to break them in to carry comfortably. They were also a bit heavy. Freak accident once, my son tipped over a mega-size Lemonade right on top of it and all my things inside were bone dry. But I almost died when that happened. Any other bag would have been totally ruined...

One supermodel or celebrity had one in every color, I think. Can't remember if it was JLo or Naomi Campbell.

Yes, I do remember those "jelly".. the colors were fun and they carried me thru one summer

I remember those! I never got what was so appealing about them. That was before I knew about Hermes though.
