Do you prefer zip wallets or smaller trifold wallets?

Do you prefer the zip around wallets or the smaller trifold ones? Not the big ones like the zip where you fold but I'm talking the smaller ones... Which one do you prefer and why? Do you find zip arounds too bulky?

Small zip around (LV Zippy Coin Purse) - not too bulky unless you put a lot of coins in it, if I have more than a few I usually use a separately coin pouch.

I prefer zip wallets. Keeps things safely inside. But I don't like the long, continental zips, too big. I have a French zip around Tory Burch that I've had forever and love it! I can carry it in any bag, from work bag to evening bag. It's perfect!

I have both a tri fold and a zip around.

I find the tri fold more bulky. The zip around is thinner and it's a lot easier to see everything at a glance.

I have a Tory Burch zip around that I love. It keeps all my receipts secure (when I'm stuffing everything in so I don't hold up the checkout line) and keeps me organized. The trifolds can get bulky and hard to get stuff out when they're stuffed.

I used to have only flap wallets, which are a bit bulky and heavy to carry - then I got my Lumi Sylvi Trifold which I love! It's really slim and thin and still holds well over 20 cards, migraine meds, bills and a heap of coins, everything I need. The leather is light but durable plus Sylvi is really pretty to look at. Another favorite is a small-ish Lauren Ralph Lauren Tate Tech wallet which I used when I don't need to carry a lot of cash (as the coin compartment is a pain in the neck.
I do have an A.Eriksson zippy card wallet and a Liebeskind mini wallet which I take with me whenever I carry a clutch or need to downsize really radically.
