I find myself liking Coach online more. The boutique SAs are sometimes pushy. Also, when they find out I'm buying for myself, they don't bother to box the items. I recently made a small purchase online (bought a chain strap). I was surprised that it was in a box with a ribbon tied around it and I didn't even select the gift wrapping option. I also enjoy the little extra savings when using a certain cash back website online. I would still visit boutiques to see the items in person, but I've decided to purchase online in the future.

Let me know what you think

I prefer shopping in the boutique. I get excellent service at my store. They basically treat me like family.

I prefer to shop online as I love getting cash back rebates as well. I try not to go to the boutique because then I start wanting things I wasn’t originally interested in [emoji23]

I go to my outlet maybe once per month. The SAs recognize me and know I love the retail items and also bag charms. You’d think they’d try to strike up a relationship with me but after many years that hasn’t happened. I don’t know if their commission structure is different? I always find that odd lol

I would like the store so I could actually look closer at the items, but I always feel like the SAs spend too much time trying to "help me" when I just want to look. They ask questions about what I am looking for, try to show me other products I don't care about, etc. I always just say, I am just coming in to get a closer look at a few bags, and say something to express that I understand the product very well (in hopes they will realize I know what I want). Some of the SAs are better than the others, but the manager is rude beyond belief. So mostly I stay away. Occasionally I go in and have a good experience. Thus most of my shopping is online.

The cashback online is a valid reason, but I LOVE packaging and I've always asked for full packaging no matter which brand. The Coach store has always indulged me in this as well. (In fact, they boxed an exchange for me too, even though I'm sure I didn't ask.)

I prefer boutique shopping especially for high end bags, mainly because colors and materials can look different in person vs pictures. Plus I have a great SA that knows what I like and picks out lovely things for me!
