Do you prefer gulliver or barenia?

It's interesting, because from my experience, gulliver and swift are very different, though I know they're thought to be the same. Gulliver is so buttery soft - I can't stop touching it, and it has a gorgeous subtle sheen.

Barenia is really interesting and I've got a certain curiosity about it.

Confusion is so annoying...

Agreed, I love my gulliver kelly!

Here she is!!

Now I need to learn how to condition it like crazy so that it gets that awesome patina. Anyone have any suggestions?

as a fellow recent new-to-me Barenia owner, I would just leave it be. I wiped my bag down with a Lexol PH wipe I had on hand and it's ready to go. The marks and patina it will acquire will be yours, I would worry that accelerating it with oils might result in an uneven, mushy bag. With a Kelly and wanting to load it up, if the bag is too oily there's a risk of stretching it out I think.

Like all things H, patience is required but I myself struggle to be patient so I understand.
