I just purchased the garda tote in the small size from fashionphile on a whim. Just curious...do you have this bag? What do you think of it? Can it be worn over the shoulder with a single strap? I usually do a lot of research before purchasing luxury bags, but the price was fair and the black intrecciato leather just seduced me! :heart::biggrin:1B67D8FB-200E-4F23-893F-DA4630733E52.jpeg

I have this bag in the original larger size. It’s my favorite BV style. I did try on the smaller size. I found it a bit too small for my needs and with both straps it’s hand carry only. I admit to not trying the one strap. The most important factor is that you like it and it works for you.
What I will note is the small size will be lovely for going out. It’s got a flirtiness the larger size doesn’t have.

Thank you for your response. I’m happy to hear that the Garda is your favorite style. I think it’s cute and timeless style! I have tried this bag in the medium size, but it’s been a while. I remember liking the medium size but at that time I couldn’t decide between the cesta and the Garda so I bought neither. Now, I carry a lot less and agree that the small size would be lovely for going out and would work for me during the daytime as well. I hope I love it in person!

This is one of my favorite and most used bags. I have two. Originally bought a grey one, it’s in the older style, and used it so much as an out and about bag that I bought a black one in the newer style. For a small bag, it holds much more than just my essentials. Once it breaks in and the handles relax and stretch, I found it easy to use as a shoulder bag with one handle - although maybe not with a heavy coat. I mostly hand carry mine and shoulder carry if I need to be hands free like when loading the groceries in the car. Hope you enjoy it. :smile:

I have the medium in the color limestone. It does work over the shoulder loosely via one handle or more tightly with two. It did require some breaking in. I ordered a purse pillow for it because I was having trouble figuring out how to best store it.
