Hi, thanks in advance for your help! I just bought this Lanvin Happy pre-owned from TheRealReal as a birthday present for myself 
They called it embossed leather, but they have another Happy up with a similar texture that they labeled as Karung snake skin leather. My bag also came with a card that talks about "the raised effect of the scales". I think there are some areas that are starting to be raised. If you think you can tell whether this is embossed or real snake skin, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

To me, either is fine so no worries about disappointing me; regardless of leather origin, I think the bag quality is fantastic and the price was right! I'm just curious about how much of a deal I got
