Oh Thanks a lot- you are a true enabler-you cemented the deal for me since I was on the fence-I thought well if she loves it I do too-:roflmfao: Thanks for Nothing!!!!!!!

It sounds like you bought items that will really enrich your enviroment-they all sound beautiful!

Can't wait to see yours

They are taking a few links out for me so hopefully sometime tomorrow or Tuesday!
On another subject-did you buy the Jumbo in Cavair? Do you still love it? I ordered one but hope it is not too stiff looking-appreciate your thoughts if you got one too.

Yes, I got it a little over a month ago and I LOVE it. Since I change my bag daily and don't like to repeat (during the week) until I have used every bag. I have only used it a handful of times. Mostly on the weekends. It is such a great bag. Not too stiff at all. It is perfect.

I thought I remembered seeing your post that you got the Cavair too so am feeling better- I love the look of the lambskin but can not find it and the rain would make it so stressful to carry it in the winter!

You are way ahead of me-I am trying to change my bag once a week and even doing that would take me 6 months to rotate through them-This bag collecting is a lot of:sweatdrop::p

I have 21 bags so it takes me 3 weeks (M-F) before I repeat. Weekends don't count. I use whatever I want. (usually my Vernis Alma or my Flap)

:yes:Once a week is more than enough for me - I really want to keep what I have and get a little age and charachter to them!
I have been refining and taking out the ones I know I will not want 10 years down the road- so much fun!

Saw it at Saks last night and I'm loving it!!! It looks really nice on and the SA said it never gets scratched (I got a demonstration with his key LOL) Gorgeous, especially with the diamond bezel!!

I know and the ceramic band is almost hard as a diamond-a #9 of the density scale-I hope it was not my watch he scratched w/his key-I am picking it up today!!!!

I see nothing wrong with venturing into other brands of ceramic watches, I'm no expert on this particular topic (ceramic) but I'm quite sure Chanel was not the first brand to come out with a ceramic watch (Rado has done them for years though a different style) and let's face it, this style may fade with time and who wants to sit on a $5,000 trendy watch, not me.... I certainly admire the J12's, even thought of buying one when it was barely $3,000 but decided to put a little more $$ in and went with a Rolex instead with no regrets at all.

I agree w/ you Lola24 that is what happened to me -I went in to our dear friend/jewler and he told me whether it is Chanel or another brand it is still a fashion piece and not a timeless time piece as far as high end watch mechanisms go (I was thinking of asking for the J12 for my Anniversary gift) and he recommended the Rolex or a similiar caliber -the Rolex I liked was retail 36k !!!!
That is when I decided to just have a few fun watches to play with and so I bought this watch in White and now this week in black w/ the diamond/pave face and for 4k if I wear them for two or three years and tire of them or they go so out of style that I feel too dated then I am ok with that since I just don't think at 65-85 I will want to wear such a heavy watch-that is not too far off in the distant future!!!!
I will say if it were not for the price difference to get the j12 w/Diamond face I would always prefer them-they have a little more refinement to them and of course I adore Chanel!!! I just had to chose and was happy to even have a viable option.

I already got it becasue Saks gives me points too and I bought it yesterday on the sale.
Thanks for the tip though I will remember it for fututre reference!

Ack, 36K Rolex, it's amazing how quickly they can get that expensive LOL. Well mine is just a simple one, and I love it so much I stopped grabbing any of my other watches (even though I love my other watches), it suits me perfectly and if I do say so myself it looks good with everything in my wardrobe from dresses to jeans which makes me happy. My life is complicated enough in terms of my handbag, clothing, makeup, and shoe daily regimen, I need some things to be easy and simple otherwise it would take me hours to dress everyday LOL. Sometimes too many choices makes my head spin:yes:

I am the same way - I keep a few basics and just wear them- the Rolex was so beautiful becasue the diamond face was about twice the original size and the band was flat and smooth-the same watch could be had for 20k and add the diamonds later but for that price I think since I don't have a pair I should get a pair of Diamond studs before a watch so that is what I asked for-I have not been a very good wife this year so may not get it anyway-LOL
