Do you like this? It's good quality but I'm not sure if the stones are too big for me. It should last since it is sterling and white coral dyed dark red. I can get it for about $300 from a local (actually a small chain) art jewelry shop.

Opinions are appreciated.

I did :smile1:

Actually I still like it ok, but the style is trending out IMO. This style was very popular for a few years and isn't so much anymore. I'd only buy it in inexpensive costume.

Good to know, thanks.

What style is replacing it?

I ordered this kate spade bib on Saturday for $50 (regularly $128). I thought it would be versatile enough since the stones are small and I could put it under a button down blouse if it's too much, and it blends with my skin tone. But I can return it if I don't like it. What do you think of this Kate Spade purple bib?

Well, I received the Kate Spade necklace above and I love it! It's definitely a costume piece, but very delicate. More sparkly than I expected with the yellow gold chain everywhere. It reminds me of an east Indian motif. The yellow gold is the same color as my 14k gold pieces.

I found a couple of less voluminous bib necklaces in my wardrobe that I didn't wear much because I disliked the "chains" (which are actually threads of some sort). I think I'll take them over to the bead store and ask them to remake the designs with materials I like. Then I'll be set with my "bib" collection. Is that what is going out of trend? I like bibs as an accessory because of the way they fill in a blank space and dress up solid tops. (I wouldn't want to wear them all the time, though.)

I'm not sure what's replacing it.

Anthropologie has a lot of really beautiful costume jewelry, I usually buy when it's on sale. I've had good luck w/ the quality and always get compliments. I don''t think thye over order so it seems like no one's ever seen the pieces I wear!
