My best friend said the same thing!Sorry but no. They remind me of the old Steve Maddens we all had in the 90's.
Great point. They're not as comfy as i thought they would be. My feet are definitely on the narrow side but even these fit oddly and I even ordered a size up bc I was advised they ran small.No. And I feel that you don't like them very much because they really are quite different to the ones you'd set your heart on.
In my eyes, they are clumpy and clunky, and not flattering at all possibly because they are all one colour and the black is quite heavy.
Another question is; are they comfortable?
Lol I don't usually wear black but i have been more lately. I don't really have any black shoes that aren't flats or heels that I could wear with jeans or skirts. I really liked the quilted part bc I thought it would match a YSL bag I have but I guess I'm not sold on them, especially after seeing the overwhelming "no" response here. These shoes are too plain for what you normally have going on aesthetically.
I don't typically mind logos but even i did question if these were a bit much. Those shoes scream label hag to me. Just because it’s designer doesn’t mean it’s good.
I have an old pair of nude Jimmy Choo platform/wedges i wear all the time. Like they are literally my go to shoes. I was hoping these might serve similar purpose in black but seems not.I don't love them in black, but I got some beige platforms to wear with long dresses and wide legged pants.
