Do you ladies think this was a good deal? (Diamond bezel set earrings)

Diamond Round Brilliant, Color Grade: I-J, Clarity: I2, Weight: 1.00 ct. t.w.
Set in 14ct White gold

I wanted something that I could wear on a daily basis that wasn't too expensive and something that I could afford to loose if god forbid, I get mugged etc but yet something that looks decent for daily use.

I work in a VERY bad area and sometimes get called in and forget to take my jewelery off and then have to worry about loosing it etc so now I've just decided not to wear anything but my digital watch and earrings.

Without more data I can't tell you but an I2 clarity is not my idea of a good buy at any price.

Quite a difference in clarity between I2 and VS2. But I would still need more data in terms of reports on the stones to determine cut quality. What lab graded those?

It sounds like where you work is terribly risky. I hope you are safe. I understand your motivation and it makes complete sense to me. Having been mugged I can tell you it's a terrible feeling, especially since what I lost was both expensive and had great sentimental value. God forbid anything happens you'll at least have the comfort of knowing what you lost was something you could afford to lose. Three years after it happened I still miss my jewellery very much and have not been able to replace them.
